PRE-TREAT STEPS — Before using, boil the large driftwood 2 times for 1 hour each time, and then soak it for about 2-3 weeks, during this time will cause the wood to release tannins (which may last for several weeks or longer), darkening the water color. Wait until the tannins are completely released before placing it in the aquarium. For reptiles, it can be used directly without soaking.
